About Our Farm
|
We at Edgar Farms are family
owned and operated, located near Edgar Springs, Missouri, in the
heartland of the Ozarks. Our family comes from many generations
of farmers and ranchers. Our climate is ideal for raising cattle
with plenty of clear water streams for drinking. That, combined
with abundant rainfall, produces lush green pasture for grazing
almost year round. When feed is necessary, we only use natural
grains and hay. No artificial growth stimulants or antibiotics
are used.
It has taken many years of hard
work and dedication to develop a herd of cattle that has superior
genetic capability to produce lean, tender, low fat, lower cholesterol
meat that today's consumer is looking for. The ribeye in each
animal is tested by a USDA certified laboratory so we know the
exact content of fat, cholesterol, and protein.
All these factors enable us to
consistently produce a high quality product. At Edgar Farms
we intend to produce a clean and healthy premium beef for our
consumer. We want to provide the best meat for your family and
ours.
